Monique continues to take continuing education courses to earn designations that enable her to assist her clients during the buying and selling process. She is a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), assisting those 50+ with their specialized needs when getting ready to retire or downsize. She is also a Certified Staging Advocate (CSA) who helps those selling get more for their property by educating them on how staging a property for the best first impression, sells it faster and for more money.
With a background in sales, psychology and sociology, Monique utilizes her skills, experience and real estate knowledge in helping clients through the buying and selling of their homes. Technology is an important factor in the real estate industry and the Peggy Hill Team uses the most current technology to best serve her clients. Using exclusive marketing tools to ensure her listings are widely exposed across the internet, showing each listing to its best advantage so that it stands apart from the competition.
Monique attended Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Anthropology and Psychology. She purchased her first home on her own in the city of Toronto a few years after graduation and experienced condo living for 5 years. During this time, she developed a love for real estate and started looking into real estate investing. After spending thousands of dollars on real estate training and seminars she purchased her first real estate investment property in Barrie, Ontario.
Many years later she has purchased and sold several real estate investments and understands how to buy and sell investment properties and teaches others to do the same. With an eighteen-year sales career prior to becoming a real estate salesperson, Monique prides herself on her customer service and keen attention to detail.
Along with a passion for real estate, Monique had her own in-home personal training business for women for several years. She is a published author with her first book: Kick Start for Weight Loss: 3 Massive Mistakes Professional Women Make That Keep Them Overweight, Exhausted and Stuck on the Diet Treadmill. She is currently working on her next book: Real Estate Investing Success: 5 Principles Professional Women Need To Know Now To Create Passive Income.
